Bro. James A. Cook is from Tattnall County, Georgia. He graduated from Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served on staff at the Kirby Woods Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee, and the Longview Baptist Church in Olive Branch.  He is married to Deloris Cook of twenty-eight years. They have three children: Kimble L. Hall, Jonathan E. Cook and Min. Jarvis A. Cook. Four Grandchildren: Kerri B. Cook, Dravius A. Hall, DaShawn O. Hall, and KaShawn Hall.
Bro. Cook is the Missionary Pastor of Harvest Baptist Mission of Olive Branch, MS, and a mission out of Homestretch in Cleveland where Bro. Ed DuVall is the pastor.  His mission involves planting a church that can be a safe gathering place for all people to come experience the grace and forgiveness of God.
